Kristen is an associate attorney practicing primarily in the firm’s Corporate and Litigation practice groups. Kristen represents businesses and individuals in business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate matters.  She also supports the firm’s Litigation practice group with research, writing, and handling motions and other court appearances.  Kristen is also a member of the firm’s Tax/Employee Benefits and Auto Dealership practice groups. 

Kristen is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.  Kristen is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. 

Kristen is a graduate of Cranbrook Kingswood in Bloomfield Hills, MI (2002).  She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College (B.A., magna cum laude, 2005) and her law degree from Wayne State University School of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2008).

While attending Wayne Law, Kristen co-authored a case study discussing material adverse change clauses in acquisition agreements (Accredited Home Lenders v. Lone Star Funds: A MAC Case Study, http://ssrn.com/abstract=1092115) with Prof. Steven M. Davidoff.  Kristen was also a member of the Small Business Enterprises and Nonprofit Corporations Clinic at Wayne Law, where she helped represent start-up for-profit and non-profit entities in the city of Detroit.  Also during law school, Kristen gained experience by working as a part-time law clerk at two metropolitan Detroit area law firms.  In 2008, Kristen was the recipient of the Deloitte Tax LLP Annual Award.

Kristen is also actively involved with the Baiardi Family Foundation, a private charitable foundation, where she is a director and vice-president.
